About Hazelbrook
Recovery Services
We provide our residents with a safe place to live, love, support, and structure to succeed. We accept Medicaid for our recovery coaching services and out-patient treatment. Colorado Recovery Services Medicaid accepted is a service of Hazelbrook Sober Living and Recovery.
our goal
When you come to Hazelbrook, you will be treated with love and respect
Our goal is lasting sobriety. This only comes from spiritual growth and a complete change in lifestyle. For most people, drug or alcohol addiction has been going on for many years. Building new habits, thoughts, and life skills takes time.
We urge residents to stay with us for at least 90 days; but they are welcome to stay as long as they would like.
While at Hazelbrook Sober Living all residents are required to stay sober, work a recovery program, work, pay their program dues, and participate in the Hazelbrook recovery community.
Engage in fun, sober activities
with the Hazelbrook Family!
Sober softball, hiking, camping, boxing, yoga, art, gardening, volunteering, bonfires, bowling, movie nights, recovery rallies, sober holiday events, BBQ’s, sports games, and so much more!
Pathways for Recovery
Choose the recovery program that works best for you
We understand there are different pathways for recovery so we give our residents the options to choose their own individual path.
We require all residents to maintain complete abstinence from drugs and alcohol. To enforce this requirement, residents must agree to nightly BA’s and random UA’s for accountability and to make sure everyone in the house in staying sober.
If at anytime a resident fails or refuses a UA/BA they will be asked to leave.
All residents are required to actively work a structured recovery program of their choosing such as AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery, or something similar. Programs must include attending recovery meetings, working with a sponsor, etc.
Very Successful!
Since I've been in Hazelbrook I have maintained my sobriety, learned how to deal with grief and loss. I now can recognize my triggers. Great place to get back on track and motivates you to become the person you were meant to be, in my case. Very successful! Thank you so much!Joseph T.
ACCOUNTABILITY & STRUCTURE
Expect to be held accountable
At Hazelbrook Sober Living, our residents are required to attend a weekly house meeting. This is a time for residents to share their wins and challenges of the week, as well as address any house issues.
Take advantage of the variety of activities, classes, and leadership opportunities we offer to help you rebuild your life. We offer the resources, you supply the hard work, and together we will experience lasting success.
While we are serious about offering structure and accountability in our sober living homes, we want you to enjoy recovery and have fun!
Crucial to Recovery
Recovery Meetings
Participating in recovery meetings and connecting with like-minded individuals is critical to recovery.
If you have never been to one of these meetings before, it can be a bit intimidating.
We host a variety of meetings in a welcoming, close-knit environment. The recovery meetings we offer include AA, NA, Bible Studies, and Life Skills, along with other approved programs.
LEADERSHIP & EMPLOYMENT
Leadership Program
Our goal is to empower you not only to help yourself but to help others.
We encourage Hazelbrook Sober Living residents to mentor and guide others in the program after they have established a good foundation for themselves.
Our program is run by people in recovery and many of which have been through the program themselves.
If you are interested in leadership or employment opportunities let us know! Contact us today and we will respond as soon as possible.
